Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A new gathering in Madrid brought together religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility.
